Paul Anthony Piccio Hernandez is the Founder and Managing Director of PSI Consultants, a consultancy firm based in Madrid and Alicante, Spain, specializing in legal, fiscal, and residency solutions.
Since 2002, the firm’s team of lawyers and accountants has assisted thousands of European and international clients with real estate investments, residency and visa applications, taxation, property management, company formation, and ongoing compliance, with a dedicated focus on international non-residents.
Before founding PSI Consultants, Paul gained entrepreneurial experience in the food service industry and served in the public sector with the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines from 1994 to 2001.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the State University of New York at Albany, completed further studies at the University of Copenhagen, and earned a master’s degree in Public Management from Potsdam University in Germany. Paul is fluent in Spanish, English, and Filipino, and is an avid traveler and music enthusiast.
Following the conclusion of Spain’s Golden Visa program, Paul has strategically led PSI Consultants and CBHI into its new core focus: the Non-Lucrative Visa and the Digital Nomad Visa. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in immigration, tax planning, and residency structuring, he now advises clients—particularly retirees, high-net-worth individuals, remote workers, and entrepreneurs—on legally residing in Spain under these alternative residency pathways.
Paul has extensive expertise in structuring Non-Lucrative Visa applications for individuals and families wishing to reside in Spain without engaging in local employment, ensuring full compliance with financial, tax, and renewal requirements. In parallel, he has expanded both PSI Consultants and CBHI´s services to support the rapidly growing Digital Nomad Visa, assisting remote professionals and international entrepreneurs with residency, tax optimization, and long-term settlement in Spain.
With extensive expertise in prime residential and lifestyle locations such as Madrid, Alicante, Marbella, and Mijas, he works closely with legal experts, tax authorities, and real estate partners, providing comprehensive support from visa planning and applications to residency renewals and ongoing tax compliance.
